WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?

 
I'm so thankful for all that I have. Starting from the great family that I have. My supportive friends. Of course we have our differences and there are times I want to kill them (lol, just kidding ) but I am really thankful for having such amazing people in my life.
I'm thankful for good health, spiritually and physically. I'm thankful for the the old chapters I've been privileged to experience- I've learnt a great deal of things. I'm thankful for the new chapter I am about to venture into. 2016 was so.... ugh! Don't even let me go there but I'm grateful for that Jackie-Chan strength I never knew God gave me. It sure came in handy.
I'm thankful for my supportive family and friends...... I've said that before right? They are just too wonderful.
 
 
To round this up, I want to say a very big thank you to those that made a significant difference in my life. Meeting you, knowing you is one of the best things that had happened to me so far. I love you.

It is 11:59pm

In 1 minute, in 60 seconds, in  60 thousand milliseconds

Today 31st December 2016 will be gone

And today will be yesterday and

Tomorrow will be today.

 

It's kind of terrifying when you think abut it.

terrifying I ways that; everything you did today,

All the plans you have made,

Places you've been.

Things you have done,

Conversations you've had-

 

Will all become memories or worse- forgotten

Lost amidst of yesterday

Lost amidst 2016

Gone!

BEAUTY BEHIND SIMPLICITY

Simplicity is the state of being simple, according to Wikipedia. Something so easy to understand in contrast to its twin "complicated" Simplicity simply  implies beauty and in our human context, it can denote freedom from hardship.

People actually have different meanings for simplicity. To some people it is the way of creating beautiful scenes from the something ordinary.

A quote from Leonardo DA Vinci says "simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" Thinking about this, it is most definitely true. There is simplicity behind just being yourself and the beauty is quite enormous.

I can choose to dress in a simple jogger pant, a tank top with a nice pair of sneakers to a date and still look sophisticated. Oh, Yeah?

Another quote from Kailash Satyarthi says that "Childhood means simplicity. Look at the world with the child's eye-it is very beautiful" True that! Just take a look at the world through the eyes of a 3 years old baby, you would wish you have a heart like theirs, hearts so pure, bear no grudges, full of life, love and joy. They practically don't bother about nothing.

Sometimes I feel we overdo things especially when it comes to fashion. Don't get me wrong here, I admire elegance spot on and my appreciation for fine things is just out of this world but it still overshadow the beauty behind simplicity.
